Performing Arts is an important curricula and extra curricula focus at Mortlake College. In the Years 5-7, all students work in multi age groupings for 2 periods per week to explore Drama and Dance. A further period is committed to Music. At Years 8-10, Performing Arts forms part of the elective 'Arts' Learning Area. Students must choose at least 3 Arts' units during their 3 years in this level. Performances to the school community, such as the 5-12 Musical, A la Cafe and the Fete are used as the focal point for student learning in Drama, Dance and Theatre Technology.
